Week 12 Recap!


Hey again all! Zac here for our week 13 recap!

 First off with our bug fixes, as a team we managed to squish bugs:

#34 mentioning the meadow in Queenies dialogue

#37 mentioning the parkour in Ralph’s dialogue

#38 fixing the distance for the final jump in the mushroom parkour

and #42 adjusting the radius of bubbles interact distance making it more accessible. 

On another great note, we managed to successfully combine our camera and movement scrips so that we now have our smoother movement and independent camera providing the best experience for the player! Some other smaller things we have touched up this week is implementing a one way gate so it’s easier to move back from the end to the start without interrupting the flow of the progression, importing our icons to the dialogue showing who is being spoken to, and importing some sounds and particle effects to our environment for better immersion. Finally we have made sure to keep our socials as active as we can posting our PGF photos, showing our trailer and sharing our date and time for our Kinetica booth Thanks all for reading, see you next week!
